LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

3. apply rules of evidence in evaluating an article on therapy,
4. apply rules of evidence in evaluating an article on a diagnostic test,
5. apply rules of evidence in evaluating a systematic review, meta-analysis,
6. apply the principles of EBM at bedside to resolve an actual clinical problem,
7. conduct an efficient medical literature search,
8. function as an effective facilitator in small group discussions, AND
9. choose and prepare materials for EBM workshops in their own specialty.
